New trends and techniques in the dental field are emerging at a rapid pace. Intra-oral, desktop, and facial scanning along with 3D printing have made digital dentistry effective and efficient. Concepts such as recreating the patient digitally - “the dental avatar” - are being embraced to improve the effectiveness of laboratory communication and dental treatment for same day All on X implant therapy. A new concept called intra-oral photogrammetry will be introduced. We will discuss how to implement these tools and techniques with seamless integration to aid in the surgical planning and restorations necessary to preserve and enhance hard/soft tissue for predictable FP1-FP3 restorations from single tooth to full arch restorations.
