The lecture will focus on a variety of clinical cases demonstrating big bone deficiency caused by improper prosthesis, periodontal disease, failing implants, and poor treatment planning. Guided bone regeneration methods required to achieve sufficient foundation for the rehabilitation of these extreme cases will be discussed. Step-by-step 3D planning and bone and soft tissue reconstructions with final prosthesis will be shown. A special emphasis will be given to innovative approaches to speeding up treatment time such as osseodensification and growth factors incorporation fabricated from autologous blood and dentin.
Learning Objectives:
Examine the anatomical obstacles in placing implants in the atrophic jaw
Learn how to utilize 3D software to plan surgical treatment
Explore innovative approaches like osseodensification and autologous growth factors derived from patient's blood and dentin
